Last week I went on my holibobs to Israel and the West Bank. Out of 943 photos taken, around 901 were of the wildflowers and cactus plants that blanket the landscape. The rest were of plates of hummus and aubergine.
They tell you about the conflicts, the complicated history and the fought - over holy sights. But they don't tell you about the bright purple thistles, the mountain poppies and the most incredible light that bathes it all.
Oh, and we stayed on a Llama Farm, with this fella…
